Nancy Beverly
Nancy Beverly is an award-winning author, international speaker, and Bible study leader who loves helping others grow in their love relationship with Jesus. Her stories have been published over the past 35 years and are a source of inspiration worldwide.
Her recent book, Tire Tracks, won the 2023 Ames Award for nonfiction. This award is given for literary excellence in a book that exemplifies courageous faith.
She knows what it is like to struggle with doubts and despair, and to wonder if God hears. Her book describes how over the years Jesus has proven there’s nothing too big for Him to handle and nothing too small for Him to care about.
Nancy grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. Her greatest adventures back then were digging tunnels through winter snowdrifts and playing badminton in the street. Little did she know the exciting escapades that lay ahead after she asked Jesus into her life.
Nancy lived overseas for ten years and has traveled to 31 countries. She has seen penguins in Africa, danced with locals in Turkey, and was kissed by a camel in Israel. But her most meaningful adventure has been knowing the God of the universe and seeing Him do amazing things only He could do. Helping others to be transformed by Jesus never loses its wonder.
She and Peter have been married for almost 45 years and reside in Orlando, Florida. They have four grown children and seven grandchildren. A day with any of them is a good day!
Nancy loves traveling, deep conversations, anything creative, bike riding, gardening, and walking and talking with her husband or friends.
My Invitation to You
I invite you to walk with me through these pages of my faith journey. As I pushed forward through the seemingly endless details required to prepare a book for printing. I was thinking about and praying for you. I knew Jesus must have a special message for you in my book or He wouldn’t be asking me to publish it.
You, my friend, are a big part of the reason I kept going! I hope these stories meet you where you are, and inspire you to seek and trust the totally trustworthy God. Please feel free to write to me, so I can get to know you as much as you will know me after you finish reading Tire Tracks.
